M. C. Ergil
Marnae C. Ergil, L.Ac., is a Professor at the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine of NYCC. She began studying Chinese language in 1981. She received her Master’s degree in Anthropology in 1989 and was funded by the National Academy of Sciences to study Chinese Medicine in China for her doctoral fieldwork. She received her Master’s in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 1997. She has spent extensive time studying Chinese medicine in China. Marnae is an author and co-editor of the Pocket Atlas of Chinese Medicine, the translator of Practical Diagnosis in Traditional Chinese Medicine and co-translator of Jiao Shu-De’s Ten Lectures on the Use of Chinese Medicinals. She has received advanced clinical training in acupuncture with labor and delivery, the treatment of infertility and dermatology.
