Charles T. Krebs

Charles T. Krebs PhD is a biologist and applied physiologist, and one of the founders of the Learning Enhancement Acupressure Program (LEAP) a program for the correction of most learning problems. He researches, teaches and lectures internationally on LEAP, kinesiology, anatomy and physiology, and neurology. Dr Krebs began his professional career as a marine biologist, teaching in the USA and then working as a researcher in Australia. A diving accident left him paralyzed from the waist down, but by deploying various complementary health techniques he was able to walk again. He found kinesiology especially helpful, and devoted some years to studying energy medicine and Applied Physiology. He opened the Melbourne Applied Physiology Clinic in 1989, eventually moving back to the USA to work on the LEAP program at the Lydian Center near Boston, USA.
Dr. Charles Krebs begann seine wissenschaftliche Laufbahn als Meeresbiologe. Nach einem Tauchunfall zunächst querschnittsgelähmt, wollte er sich mit der medizinischen Prognose nicht abfinden. Er suchte bei alternativen Heilweisen und in der Gehirnphysiologie nach Lösungen – und konnte seine Behinderung überwinden. Heute ist er ein international gefragter Dozent für Gehirnphysiologie und hat das Lernprogramm LEAP entwickelt: eine Methode zur Integration und Leistungsverbesserung des Gehirns, die auch bei stark lernbehinderten Kindern erstaunliche Ergebnisse aufweisen kann.
