The two seminars focus on shen (the emotional, psychic, mental, more subtile side of qi). Elisa Rossi (both a well-recognized scholar and an experienced clinician) goes through the classical texts to see how they consider emotions, evaluate their disturbed manifestations and approach their excessive unbalances. She proceeds into contemporary clinical practice, relating to western diagnosis and discussing TCM framing and treatment lines.
A specific attention is given to the relation between patient and practitioner, both in classical sources and in daily practice.
